Fantastic service from start to finish… In store I was greeted by Craig Sargeant himself who helped us pick out our perfect carpet (whilst following all covid-19 measures)! high quality carpet with a great look. We were lucky enough to have it fitted that same day!! The 2 fitters followed every covid-19 protocol whilst being able to do their job and the end product was phenomenal. Sargeant carpets recently supplied and fitted carpeting throughout the upstairs of our newly refurbished home.
They were very accommodating to our changing circumstances and happy to reschedule the fit on numerous occasions.

I cannot thank Craig Sargeant and his Staff enough nor praise their service and workmanship more highly. Having recently moved from Manchester to Bognor Regis at the beginning of the month, July, I had originally used a nationally-based carpet company, but they badly let me down. In fact they were disgraceful in service and manners – certainly NOT the right place for carpets.
As soon as I explained the situation to Craig Sargeant, he said, quite simply, ‘Right, let’s see how we can help’. I chose virtually the same carpet I had wanted, the fitters turned up two days later and within four-and-a-half hours had completed the job. Myself and my family have used Sargeant Carpets for many years. I have always been 100% satisfied with the service provided by Craig Sargeant and his team. I recently used them again for providing some new carpets in my house. Craigs knowledge of the carpet business is second to none and helped me decide what would be the right choice. Despite the difficult times we endure at the moment (Covid 19) Craig made the whole process simple and uncomplicated. The price was very reasonable and the time taken from placing the order to fitting was very good. The “fitting team” were courteous and made a first class job.

Hi I am a small time property developer/landlord and have used sargeant carpets since 2003 you get what you see in the showroom, a huge range of product fitted by them and there perminant staff no contract carpet cutters and if you’re not quite ready to have all rooms layed in one go they can hold your batch of flooring until you are ready and it goes without saying there finish is always perfect. I have just had hall, stairs and bedroom carpets replaced by Sargeant Carpets/Craig Sargeant. Very impressed by all aspects of the service. Excellent communication in advance and fitting completed as agreed across two separate sessions. Carpets look and feel great so no issues with quality. I was especially pleased with the fitting work, which took in all marginal areas (e.g. inside fitted wardrobes) without having to be asked. Would definitely use again.

They all went out of their way to also replace some old existing underlay, which we hadn’t realised had disintegrated as they swapped some carpet around for us too. Despite the complications of having just re-opened for business after lockdown, once again Craig Sergeant and his team provided a great service in the selection and fitting of carpets, this time for our hall, stairs and landing. In the store Craig was respectful of social distancing and explained how the team would operate and the fitters were clearly aware of their company’s new rules and restrictions on how to get the job well done, without compromising their and our safety from the risk of infection. Overall we are delighted with the service and the end result.
We had a water leak at the weekend, after a conversation with Sargent’s carpets and a very quick response from them. We were able to have a new carpet fitted on the Monday. My carpet fitting was testament to this. Thanks to Craig & his quick response it was fantastic from start to finish with quotes, samples & ideas to help with an awkward lounge/diner. Within a week of initial contact i had a fitter round, carpet laid and very happy with the end result. The fitter was quick, quality & thorough. Very tidy and clean. We’ve had a good month or so to live with the carpet and its perfect. We have two large dogs and were shown appropriate samples to allow us to bleach clean and maintain a busy area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
From the moment I walked into Sargeant Carpets I felt that Craig looked after me with my brief to carpet a house we were refurbishing. Craig talked through various carpets and vinyls that would be suitable and let me borrow some samples. He then came to measure up and advised us about the best way to level out a very uneven concrete floor. On the date we had booked the fitters arrived and carried out a professional job. I would have given 6 stars. We have just moved from Epsom surrey and although there are some great tradesman. The companies I have used except the one that built my new house have been outstanding. The fitters were completely professional friendly and used up all our old tea and coffee. I would recommend them to anyone. Apparently this is the norm in the area I just wish the same could be said for surrey. Many thanks to all the team for a great job at a fantastic price.
From our first contact with Craig Sargeant we felt that we were dealing with someone who really cared about giving a personal service. The carpet we chose was not in his showroom but he was able to get it for us & kept it until we were ready even though that turned out to be longer than expected because completion on our new build house was delayed. In the end the carpet fitters fitted the carpets in the house a few days before completion took place & because we were not allowed access because the builders were still finishing off, the fitters had to spend an hour cleaning up the floor before they could do the fitting but they did a brilliant job. We had several phone conversations with Craig because of the build delays but he was always helpful & available & I have no hesitation in recommending Sargeant carpets.

My wife and I were recommended by a friend to Sargeant Carpets we went into the shop and we were welcomed by Mr Sargeant who recommended certain carpets to us and he gave us samples to take away he also introduced us to his son Craig we then made arrangements with him to view the house as we wanted it carpeted from top to bottom Craig arrived and my wife decided on what carpet she wanted a date was fixed the team arrived at the time agreed and between 4 to six fitters got on with the job we were both very impressed with them all, they were very friendly amiable and generally nice people. The job was completed the same day everything was cleaned up and hoovered and left looking great. This family business has supplied and fitted carpets and flooring for us for 20 years. We have always had great advice, excellent customer service and value for money. Definitely the best decision we made going here for our carpet that we returned a week later to order vinyl for our bathroom as well. Fitting was fantastic with a lot of attention to detail. I needed a carpet for a large room, but having shopped around was disappointed with prices and lead times for fitting. I found Sergeant Carpets on Google and liked the reviews, so made the shortish trip to Bognor I explained my dilemma to Craig, who came up with a number of options, all better value than the previous quotes and able to fit within a week. We had 4 rooms done, the mess was minimal, the guys moved the furniture themselves and cleaned up and put the furniture back before they left. very polite and proffessional guys, The price included new floors in 2 rooms and then cushion floor & underlay and underlay & carpets in 2 further rooms, all gripper rods, fixings & sealants, furniture shifting, clearing up, taking old floorings away & vat.
