Cormar Carpets : Supplier Spotlight

Jan 27, 2021

Here at Sargeant Carpets we have a number of suppliers we use regularly, and wanted to dig a little deeper into their ranges for customers to have as much information as possible to help choose which to use in their home.

Our first supplier spotlight features Cormar Carpets, whose carpets we have been recommending for 30 years.  They are one of our preferred suppliers and have supported us fantastically throughout the challenges that the past year has presented, including yarn shortages in the wider world.  It’s great to be able to showcase this family-run British business which was one of the pioneers of tufted carpets.

Who are Cormar Carpets?

Cormar Carpets have been making carpets since the 1950s and are based in Lancashire where they have two mills.   They have won many awards, including Interiors Monthly’s ‘Best Carpet Manufacturer’ for eight consecutive years from 2012-2020 and also the coveted F1 ‘Carpet Supplier of the Year’ for the past 13 years.

Their ranges include family-friendly easy clean carpets, luxury soft deep piles and quality wool loops. There is something for everyone and their wide variety of colours reflects the latest interior trends.
